Stoichiometry of Superconductor Materials by Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES)
28 November 1988
The abundance of investigations of high T sub c superconductors in film and bulk forms demands accurate and rapid analytical methods for determining stoichiometry of these materials. Total quantitative elemental analyses (except oxygen) of solutions of superconductors by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) provide reliable compositional data for superconductor research and development. Sequential multi- elemental determinations of major, minor, and trace constituents from one sample solution avoid dilution errors in calculation of composition of superconductors in terms of relative moles.
