Ti:LiNbO sub 3 intersecting waveguides.

Experimental crosstalk and insertion loss characteristics of Ti:LiNbO sub 3 intersecting channel waveguides are presented. A single-DELTAn intersection region is used. The characteristics of both TE and TM are presented for angles of 2-20degrees. Our aim was to determine the minimum angle required to produce negligible loss and crosstalk ( -35 dB) when signals are routed across one another in switching architectures.
