Toll switchboard no. 3

This paper describes the new toll switchboard designed to replace the No. 1 equipment formerly in use, to meet the expansion of the toll service and the growth of machine switching local service. The paper cannot be adequately abstracted without reference to the seven diagrams which accompany it, and should, therefore, be referred to.
