Total Network Data System: Network Management

Network m a n a g e m e n t consists of real-time network performance monitoring and control of the telephone network. It is a technique designed to optimize the call-carrying capacity of t h e network when the network is under stress due to traffic overload or failures. In recent years significant steps have been taken to respond to the need for better network m a n a g e m e n t for the evolving Message Telecommunications Service ( M T S ) network.
