H I S paper summarizes a study of the transatlantic long-wave radio transmission data (near 60 kilocycles) collected by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and the General Post Office of Great Britain during the period from 1923 to 1933, including the development tests from 1923 to 1926 and the period of operation of the commercial radio telephone circuits from January 1927 to December 1933.
