This slide deck is a high level overview presentation describing the needs and motivation for more energy efficient ICT solutions and their potential benefits for scalable and sustainable future communication and computing networks. It includes an introduction, motivation and status of the GreenTouch consortium and provides some pointers towards promising green research directions.
