Transmission of 32/spl times/43 Gb/s over 27/spl times/100 km of TeraLight fiber low-cost EDFA amplification

We transmit 32 channels at 43 Gb/s over 2730 km using only single-stage EDFA line amplifiers and an original system configuration, with dispersion-compensating higher-order fiber modules at the beginning of the span.
