Tunable Single Gain Section Quantum Dot Multi-Wavelength Hybrid III/V-Si Laser

In-homogeneously broadened quantum dot gain material is butt-coupled to a dual-cavity silicon photonic integrated circuit. Lasing is achieved on two independently tunable laser lines simultaneously. Low mode competition allows for low RIN simultaneously on both lines.
