Two particle excitations in antiferromagnetic insulators.

The energy and mass of one and two holes in a Hubbard antiferromagnet for nonzero exchange, J, in the Ising limit is calculated within the Brinkman-Rice approximation. Only the p and d symmetry states bind with an energy of order J.
