Ultra Low Power Thermo-Optic Silica-on-Silicon Waveguide Membrane Switch

We present an optimized ultra-low power thermo-optic waveguide switch design. We show under 25mW power consumption for standard index-contrast silica-on-silicon material with reduced polarization dependent switching performance.
