UNIX(R) System V Release 4: An Introduction

Our goal in writing this book has been to introduce the latest version of the UNIX(R) System, UNIX System V Release 4.0, to new and to experienced computer users. We have included material that will make this book a valuable reference for users who are new to the UNIX System, as well as for those who've used earlier versions. We've covered material useful to users on supported machines as well as those running UNIX System V on single-user machines.
