Users guide to the T data management system.

T is a data management system which runs under the UNIX(TM) operating system. It provides facilities not commonly found in other data management systems. Powerful data manipulation facilities are provided which allow access to "derived data" (data and programs stored in UNIX(TM) system files) as well as data stored within a T database. New structure can be added to an existing T database without modification of existing data. It allows multiple views of a database. These views can be used to prevent access to privileged data by unauthorized users as well as provide some fairly sophisticated restructuring capabilities. T also provides password security for individual databases, redirection of input and output, query logging, and concurrency control for one writer with multiple readers.
