Video Coding Using Compressive Sensing, Quantization and Entropy Coding

This work describes a video coding system based on compressive sensing of pixel values followed by measurement quantization and entropy coding. We study the design trade-off between the number of measurements and the measurements' accuracy and between the optimality and the complexity of the encoding/decoding system. Conclusions drawn from theoretical analysis are supported by experiments on real video data.
