Virtualized Path Routing and Frequency Allocation Functions in Elastic Optical Networks

Optical channels are configured according to changing data traffic demands through virtualized routing and frequency allocation functions as SDN applications. Two set of algorithms are evaluated considering the optimum between allocated slot ranges of DWDM frequency grid and execution time requirements.
