The realism and effectiveness of flight-training simmulators may be enhanced by a visual presentation of the motions, relative to the aircraft, of runways, etc. A system is described in which a realistic visual effect is achieved by moving a television camera in juxtaposition with a scale model of the runway, etc. Relative motions of the model and camera are controlled by signals from the flight simulation computer.
