VLSI Implementation of a Neural Network Memory with Several Hundreds of Neurons

Associative neural network memories combine both storage and processing functins making them attractive modules for parallel and distributed data processing. This type of memory consists of an array of amplifiers with their inputs and outputs selectively interconnected through a matrix of wires with resistive elements at some of the crosspoints.
