Water Treatment: AT&T Finds Uniform Particle Size Resin Improves Water Deionization Quaoity and Operating Efficiency

Three Type I gel anion resins were compared side-by-side under actual operating conditions in a semiconductor manufacturing plant. Conventional (normal particle size distribution), the anion component of a nuclear grade mixed resin, and a uniform particle size (UPS) resin were compared. Data will be presented as to operating run lenghts, rinse down times, conductivities, and TOC values.
