The Nokia 7250 Interconnect Router (IXR) family offers a variety of differentiated modular and fixed platforms based on merchant silicon. These routers are suitable for diverse networking needs, including mobile, residential and business access, aggregation, edge compute and data center applications.

With its high-speed interfaces, high port density and precise timing and synchronization capabilities, the 7250 IXR is optimized to provide exceptional performance, reliability and security for service providers, webscale operators and enterprises.

The 7250 IXR uses proven and highly resilient Nokia network operating systems (SR OS, SR Linux) to deliver a rich set of IP routing capabilities. It includes extensive IP/MPLS, segment routing, EVPN and OAM capabilities that can power the most demanding, dynamic and reliable Ethernet and IP/MPLS networks.

  • Offers an integrated GNSS receiver option with full SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 capabilities
  • Provides comprehensive security features including a MACsec encryption option
  • Provides temperature hardening for reliable operation in demanding environments
