Kristen serves as Chief People Officer at Nokia, where she spearheads the company's People & Culture agenda. Her leadership encompasses talent strategy, leadership and organizational development, reward systems, employee experience, and workforce transformation.

Based in Espoo, Finland, she collaborates closely with the CEO and Group Leadership Team to align culture, capabilities, and ways of working with Nokia's technology and AI-driven strategy, supporting the company's strategic evolution.

Kristen brings over three decades of global HR leadership experience spanning the United States, Europe, and emerging markets. 

Prior to joining Nokia, she was the Global Head of People & Culture for Roche Diagnostics within the broader Roche Group. Her tenure at Roche also included senior roles such as Head of Human Resources for Diagnostics across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, alongside key leadership positions within Group Human Resources. Earlier in her career, Kristen spent approximately a decade with Texas Instruments in various human resources capacities.

Recognized as a thoughtful voice on equitable leadership and modern people practices, Kristen is also a respected speaker on topics including empowering women leaders, neurodiversity, and unconscious bias.

Originally from the United States, Kristen resided in Switzerland for nearly 20 years before relocating to Finland. She and her husband have four adult children.
