‰« 100 mW RT-CW output power from thermally optimized 1.55μ VECSEL

Thermal optimization of 1.55 mum VECSELs is studied in term of bottom Bragg mirror structure. 125 mW room temperature rollover-free output power is produced from a hybrid metal-metamorphic mirror structure bonded onto a diamond substrate.
