AT&T International ISDN Applications (NOT PUBLISHED)

AT&T started the ISDN introduction in the U. S. in 1986. The first international 5ESS(R) Switch with ISDN capabilites is being built and will be deployed in 1989. This paper describes ISDN applications. These applications are based on enhanced voice services such as digital key system and a number circuit-switched and packet- switched X.25 data services. The trial is also the initial application of the mulipoint Basic Rate Interface (BRI), which supports multiple terminals on a single BRI.
