Injected hot electron transport in GaAs.

We have obtained a spectroscopic information on the momentum distribution of extreme nonequilibrium electrons in a semiconductor using "Hot Electron Spectroscopy." In this paper experimental results obtained in GaAs are presented and spectral features are discussed including experimental evidence for the existence of "ballistic" electron transport in a semiconductor.
