Integrated Non-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation Transmitter Based on Prefixed Optical Phases and intensity modulations

We study the generation of 2D modulation formats based on intensity modulations with prefixed optical phases. Such new scheme is tested with InP photonic integration where we outline the limitations due to such implementation.
