Intelligent Network Surveillance

With an intelligent network, the successful execution of service delivery is dependent on close coupling of multiple NEs. These NEs may be supported by multiple Operations Support (OS) systems. This type of network architecture places increased emphasis on three alarm surveillance and maintenance support issues. They are the correlation and isolation of network conditions, the ability to support varying work center arrangements, and timely OS support of revenue-generating services.
