Internal Construction Management Process - Team Techniques that Work

A presentation to be given at the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) conference in Atlanta, Georgia on October 22, 1988 by S.M. Rochon, Manager of the Murray Hill Facilities Engineering and Construction Department. The topic he will be presenting is entitled, 'Internal Construction Management Process - Team Techniques that Work.' In this presentation Mr. Rochon will describe the engineering and construction function at Murray Hill. He will review the results of Facilities Management's movement towards the interactive 'team' concept which aligns departmental functions directly to technical and staff divisions. His presentation will highlight the customer interface now utilized within his department during all phases of laboratory construction to successfully complete a project. The vugraphs and/or slides will diagram the workflow process by following a construction project through all aspects of planning, drafting, engineering and construction.
