New Image

Both in emission on the IRAS sky brightness images and in absorption against the background of stellar sources on the Palomar Sky Survey plates, the morphology of the object Lynds 1592/93 suggests bipolar outflow. As can be seen from the coadded IRAS 12microns image, the bipolar structure of Lynds 1592/93 is apparent down to the scale of several arc minutes and is highly collimated over a spatial extent of about 40 arc minutes. The regions of apparent interaction with the surrounding molecular cloud are separated by almost 1.5 degrees.
