Issues in the Networking of Optical Products

As a designer of Library and Information Systems, I am concerned with customer, as well as system aspects of CD-ROM products. But there are also other major issues facing the industry such as profitability, user accessibility, and library cost-both person and monetary. Networking of CD-ROM products addresses some of these areas; I will present some ideas related to networking. In addition, I will present my views on the future of the CD-ROM industry over the next 10 years.
