Milan broadcasting station

A general description of the Milan station, which is equipped with broadcast equipment designed and manufactured by the Italian branch of the Standard Electric Co. Details are given of the general arrangement of the studios and apparatus and schematic diagrams of the amplifier and transmitter connections. The transmitter is designed for an output of 1 kW, the final power valve being of the water-cooled type, operating with an anode potential of 4000 volts. The curve of the output characteristic shows that the output is practically uniform between frequencies of 35 and 7000 cycles. The article is illustrated by seven photographs and five diagrams.
