Millimeter-wave photonic up-conversion based on a 55GHz quantum dashed mode-locked laser

A photonic architecture for the up-conversion of a typical millimetre-wave 802.15.3c OFDM signal is experimentally demonstrated. The system is based on a 55 GHz mode-locked laser.
