For the last several months, Spatial Channel Model (SCM) has been jointly discussed in 3GPP/3GPP2. There have been various proposals to implement this model. To evaluate these various proposals, it is necessary to know what the ideal channel statistics are if there are infinite oscillators instead of finite as is assumed in various channel implementations. In this memorandum, we analytically find the effect of non-uniform (in terms of PDF) angle spread on channel statistics in terms of correlation, level crossings and average fade duration for multiple antenna systems. A series representation of channel correlation is given. For clarity of presentation, we re-derive the channel correlation for the Clarke's model and then extend it to the case of non-uniform angle spread.
