Multilayer Interoperability experiment on IDEALIST European Testbed based on flexible elastic optical network

In this paper, we investigate the potential of multilayer flexible optical network on a pan European testbed. With SDN based controller in Spain, local controllers and equipements in England and Italy, we validate from control plane to data plane the realtime transmission accross a flexible optical cross connect network with bandwidth variable transceivers and interoperability experimental measurements
