Multipath Fading Model for Terrestrial Microwave Radio

Terrestrial microwave radio performance is degraded by atmospheric multipath fading and multipath fading due to ground reflections. Propagation measurements have been made on a hop from Sparr to Gainesville, FL using multiple antennas aligned at different elevation angles. In this paper we present simulation results using a two ray model in which we match these experimental dispersive fading statistics.
