Narrowband Tunable Optical Filter for Channel Selection in Densely-Packed WDM Systems.

Stimulated Brillouin amplification is used for channel selection in a densely-packed WDM direct-detection lightwave experiment. Data at 45 Mb/s were detected error-free with a similar interfering channel as close as 140 MHz away.
