Network Monitoring for Bandwidth Management Services, A SMART Solution

The Service Monitoring Alarm Reporting Tool (SMART) is a network status monitoring system. AT&T's Network Control Offices use SMART to monitor the status of its Bandwidth Management Services (BMS). SMART provides a real time geographical display on an AT&T PC6386 that integrates the alarm status of facilities and T1 multiplexers for multiple BMS customers.
