The Committee on Network Operations and Management is the newest of the technical committees of the IEEE Communications Society. Its charter is to provide a focus within COMSOC for those interested in network operations; a topic that is rapidly evolving in an environment characterized by increasing numbers of vendors who provide network elements and Operations Systems.
