The availability of new technologies has resulted in a plethora of network types while the needs of new generation users have become more sophisticated. The most imminent users' need is the capability to communicate across heterogeneous networks both internal and external to administrative boundaries. Hence, the need of a formal plan for interworking the multitude of existing and emerging network types has been receiving considerable attention.
