Neural Network Chips and their Applications

We are implementing associative memory circuits based on connectionist models for neural networks. These models have been studied extensively theoretically but microelectronic implementations have only appeared recently. A major problem for an electronic implementation of these models is their high interconnectivity; each processor (neuron) has to be connected to every other processor.
