New 5G Waveform Trials

Application scenarios, such as Internet of Things, Gigabit wireless connectivity, tactile Internet, and many more expected for the fifth generation (5G) of cellular communication systems reveal major shortcomings of LTE/LTE-A and the of a new air interface. The purpose of this work is to identify, simulate and test the waveforms that best address all requirements.
