New Ceramic Capacitor Compositions

Several material systems have been developed with high dielectric constants and various temperature dependences for Z5U, NPO and XyR capacitor applications. These dielectric compositions are based on lead peovskite, lead pyrochlore and bismuth pyrochlore systems. Material properties and multilayer capacitor fabrication will be discussed.
