New PSD quasicrystals.

New quasicrystals are obtained in so-called PSD type alloys; AuLi sub 3 Al sub 6, Zn sub (17) Li sub (32) Al sub (51), Ga sub (16) Mg sub (32) Al sub (52) and Ag sub (15) Mg sub (35) Al sub 50. TEM and x-ray diffraction reveal that these PSD quasicrystals exhibit a unique peak intensity modulation and packing density suggesting unique atomic decorations of the rhombohedron unit cells of 3DPT.
