Niobium Triselenide: A unique rechargeable positive electrode material.

This memorandum is the extended abstract for an invited talk to be presented at the 4th Internation Meeting on Lithium Batteries, Vancouver, May 24-27, 1988. A later memorandum will contain the text of the complete paper, due at the time of the meeting. The emphasis in this paper is on the performance of niobium triselenide as a cathode material in two types of lithium rechargeable cells, a coin cell and the Faraday AA-size cell currently under development.
