Nonlinear Frequency Division Multiplexing: from Single Polarization to Dual Polarization

In this paper, we review the recent progress of Nonlinear Frequency Division Multiplexing (NFDM) transmission research. In addition, we also highlight the challenges of NFDM transmissions in practical implementation conditions and provide the future outlook.
