Note on L sub 1 Approximation.

The bandlimited function of given bandwidth that best approximates signal plus noise in the L sub 1 norm leads to perfect signal recovery in certain cases where either the signal or noise vanish outside a set E that can support at most a fraction lambda 1/2 of the L sub 1 norm of bandlimited functions having the prescribed bandwidth. This note examines the sensitivity to errors.
