On the Capacity Region of the Two-User MISO Broadcast Channel with Delayed CSIT
01 July 2016
We consider the problem of the two-user multipleinput single-output complex Gaussian Broadcast Channel where the transmitter has access to the delayed knowledge of the channel state information. Recently, the degrees of freedom region for this problem has been characterized, and it has been shown that the sum degrees of freedom is 4=3. An intriguing question is that how those schemes that are optimal in terms of degrees of freedom, perform in the finite signal to noise ratio regime. More importantly, we would like to understand whether those schemes can be modified to provide meaningful results in the finite signal to noise ratio regime. In this work, we modify the achievability ideas for the case of finite signal to noise ratio, and by deriving an outer-bound, we show that the achievable rate
