Developing the 7R/E (TM) Packet Network Solution requires merging traditional telecommunication operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning (OAM&P) capabilities with the fast-paced, high-churn world of data switching and dedicated element management systems (EMSs). The OneLink Manager (TM) EMS is designed to merge these worlds. It allows rapid integration of disparate technologies and equipment from third-party vendors into a coordinated OAM&P system with a unified standards-based interface. The architecture can grow in breadth and depth of function and in scale to support the largest switching/data centers.
