To meet administrations' needs for efficient operations and maintenance modern digital exchanges must have powerful, effective interfaces to personnel on site and to remote Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support systems. AT&T's 5ESS(TM) Switch provides both human-machine and inter-machine interfaces for these needs, based on the appropriate CCITT recommendations.
