Optical-amplifier-less transmission of 92 GBd PAM-4 signal using 80 GSa/s DAC/ADC

Tomlinson-Harashima precoding is applied to transmit 92 GBd PAM-4 signal over 2-km SMF using 80 Gsa/s DAC/ADC together with an optical-amplifier-free intensity modulation direct detection (IM/DD) system. The bandwidth of the transmission system is limited to 33 GHz.
