Optimal Launch and Detection Points for the NFT-based Communication System with Lumped Amplification

Applying the path-average theory, we define the optimal signal launch and detection points in nonlinear Fourier transform based communication systems with lumped amplification to minimise the deterministic signal distortions and to improve significantly the overall transmission performance.
