Optimization of IPTV Multicast Traffic Transport over Next Generation Metro Networks

This paper reviews the challenges of transporting IPTV Multicast traffic flow over Metro networks in the NGN deployments and provides some guidelines to optimize the resources used for this traffic while achieving the better end user perception of the service possible.
