Optimum Power Allocation for the MIMO-BC Zero-Forcing Precoder with Per-Antenna Power Constraints

In this paper, we determine the optimum power allocation to maximize the weighted sum rate assuming a ZF precoder under a PAPC. A weighted sum rate objective function is considered since it can be directly implemented for scheduling algorithms used in contemporary scheduled packet data systems with quality of service requirements.
